MOBIUS is a university–industry collaboration focused on creating and commercialising next-generation biosensing platforms, while developing the next generation of biosensor scientists for both research and industry.

Why MOBIUS
We named our Hub after the Möbius strip. Take a single strip of paper, make a half-twist and join the ends together—trace the strip with your finger and you will return to where you started. To us, it represents the infinite potential of academia and industry working together. Our logo uses three Möbius strips inter-twined, representing our three research themes.

MOBIUS brings together experts in advanced manufacturing, biology, chemistry, engineering, physics, nanotechnology and materials science, and business, commercialisation, and entrepreneurship. Our three interconnected research themes span the sensor lifecycle, from fundamental research to commercialisation.
