Promotions for four of MOBIUS’ outstanding researchers!

A big congratulations to four of MOBIUS’ stellar researchers, Ing Kong, Noushin NasiriSteve Petrovski and Saimon M. Silva, who have recently received promotions!

Noushin Nasiri (Macquarie University), promoted to Professor. Noushin is an expert in the design, functionalisation and application of nanostructured materials, and translating these into miniaturised sensor technologies and wearables.

Ing Kong (School of Computing, Engineering and Mathematical Sciences, La Trobe University), promoted to Professor. Ing focuses on additive manufacturing and advanced materials, with a particular focus on 3D bioprinting for biomedical applications.

Steve Petrovski (School of Agriculture, Biomedicine and Environment, La Trobe University), promoted to Professor. Steve is a microbial geneticist who specialises in mobile genetic elements and bacteriophages, and contributes this expertise to inform biosensor applications.

Saimon Moraes Silva (School of Agriculture, Biomedicine and Environment, La Trobe University), promoted to Senior Lecturer. Saimon combines his expertise in surface chemistry and biomaterials, nanotechnology and molecular detection to create sensors for diverse applications.

We are very proud of our outstanding researchers!
