We are pleased to welcome Associate Professor Sudha Mokkapati (Monash University) as a MOBIUS Affiliated Researcher.

Sudha is an innovator at the intersection of advanced materials and photonics, bringing extensive expertise across semiconductors, quantum optics, and 2D materials. Her research drives key breakthroughs in electronic sensing, energy-efficient optoelectronics, and high-bandwidth optical interconnects.

Sudha bridges fundamental physics with practical device engineering to develop scalable technologies that address next-generation technological challenges. For example, she develops novel sensing architectures for accessible sensors and diagnostics.

A recognised leader in research direction and technology transfer, she serves as a member of the Australian Research Council (ARC) College of Experts, and is a Monash 70th Anniversary Fellow in the ‘commercialisation and enterprise’ category.
