Congratulations to MOBIUS Deputy Director, Professor Chamindie Punyadeera, who has received the Griffith University Institute for Biomedicine and Glycomics (IBG) Excellence in Research Leadership 2025 Award.

Chamindie is an innovator and an advocate for women in STEMM.

She leads the salivary diagnostics and liquid biopsy laboratory, focused on developing biomarkers—molecules indicative of disease or disease risk—from concept through to commercialisation, accelerating precision health.

These awardees now go forward as IBG’s nominees for the Griffith University Vice Chancellor’s Research Excellence Awards, recognising outstanding contributions across research, leadership, impact and supervision.
